SKIES OVER EVANSVILLE utilizes our state-of-the-art computer graphics display system created by Evans and Sutherland, makers of Digistar®, the world’s most advanced planetarium system. We use Digistar to create the known universe including stars, galaxies, nebula, planets, comets, asteroids and exoplanets using three-dimensional, real-time computer graphics generated from a data provided by the American Museum of Natural History and NASA. Presented “live” as a traditional planetarium experience, this program typically details the visible constellations and planets of our night sky while allowing visitors to grasp our unique place in space. The program includes interaction with the presenter, and those attending are encouraged to ask questions. 45-minutes.

Family Board Game Night is scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of each month as part of our Thursday After Rush Hour programming. All Thursday After Rush Hour activities are included with Museum admission or play for FREE every month by becoming a member!

Instructor: Sherry Groff 

Come, meet new friends and create art! No art skills are necessary.

Each month participants will create personally meaningful pages in an art journal as they explore creative techniques designed to increase their knowledge of artist tools, paints and various other supplies. Participants are welcome to attend one session or come every month (new participants are welcome all the time). Bring a friend for this fun, relaxed and social art event. 

Participants would need to bring an art journal of their choice. All other supplies will be provided, although participants are welcome to bring their own.

Art Journaling Club is included with Museum admission. Become a member and participate for free!
