Welcome to Evansville Museum’s online press room!

The Evansville Museum of Art, History & Science strives to be responsive and helpful to reporters from Evansville and throughout the world. Please review the following information about press contacts, press releases, press previews, and the Museum’s photography policies.

Who to contact at the Museum

Members of the news media who would like to receive more information and images, interview museum staff, arrange a photo shoot inside the museum, or receive media passes to an exhibition or event should contact Faith Connell at (812) 425-2406 ext. 233 or marketing@emuseum.org or Jamie Liles at development@emuseum.org.

Solicitations for advertising and other marketing inquiries should be sent to marketing@emuseum.org.

The Evansville Museum proudly supports non-profit organizations in the Evansville region through the donation of Museum items for fundraising events. Those wishing to be considered should complete this donation request form.

Press releases

The easiest way to stay informed about Evansville Museum is to subscribe to the RSS feeds on this press room. You can subscribe to any press room feeds by clicking on the following: exhibition press releases; event press releases; media alerts; and staff news press releases.

The Evansville Museum typically does not mail printed press releases. You may receive plain-text press releases via email by contacting Faith Connell at marketing@emuseum.org. So that we only send you what you’d like to receive, please explain in your email if you’re only interested in certain press releases (for example, “art acquisitions” or “news about decorative arts and design” or “information about press previews”).

Press previews

Members of the news media who would like to receive more information and images, interview museum staff, arrange a photo shoot inside the Museum, or receive media passes to an exhibition or event should contact Faith Connell at (812) 425-2406 ext. 233 or marketing@emuseum.org.

Photography at the museum

To protect our visitors and the works of art on view in the galleries, the Evansville Museum restricts photography and filming intended for commercial use. Photographers or camera crews not invited by the Museum must first obtain permission to conduct any photo or video shoots in or on Museum grounds. Advance notice of at least two weeks is suggested. For more information, review the Museum’s photography policy.
